Bald Archy exhibition

Gina Rinehart seemed to me to be the star of this year’s Bald Archy exhibition. Among the several portraits of her there were ones that showed her as being fanged, and also like a southern belle. My favorite portrait of her was the Lyndsay Hatchwell, Audacity of Mine. Based on the Obama hope poster drawn in blue and red with the simple word Mine on the bottom.. Such a simple double entendre was delightful.

Among the highlights was the remarkable portrait of Dame Edna nearly naked doing the vacuuming. Incongruity abounds.
