New Release (digital media) @ M16 Artspace

Digital media art works are a mixed bag. Ten artists have come together at M16 Artspace in a show of various digital media artworks that are generally engaging. There were claymation styles of things, animations, digitally manipulated film and various videos.
The thing I loved the most was created by an artist called Elliot Schultz. It combined some old record players, some things called Zoetropes and a strobe light. When they were combined the zoetropes on the turntable under the srobe resulted in wonderful simple animations on the zoetropes. Not only that but viewers were encouraged to take the zoetropes off flip them over and or use other ones in the rack. I was like a pig in mud. I got a clip of it but can’t upload it so make do with the gallery sheet
