The exhibition of Bernard Ollis’ work at the Aarwun Gallery is richly coloured and quirkily executed. Having walked through a couple of the scenes pictured in this set I found the exhibition to be fun and uplifting. There are street scenes in this show from London, Paris, Morocco, Brisbane and Sydney. Ollis plays around with the streets with novelty of both shape and colour but each of the images has a direct connection to the real location but presents it with a vibrancy of colour that introduced a liveliness to the space.
