Jerrabomberra Wetland at 2 Dairy Road Fyshwick

Growing up in Canberra I walked around this space as a kid oblivious to its natural significance. Recently we walked through one of the mapped tracks and enjoyed it heaps. The entry is about a kilometre down Dairy Road, the tracks are clear but not overbuilt. The information is relevant and not overwhelming. The layout brings you close and focused on little birds and their activity while also giving you a great view of panoramic beauty of Canberra’s location. Not being a big fan of bush walking this was a manageable and enjoyable hour in the outdoors easily accessible to town.

The website is helpful and for the tech bush types there is an app.
